Rape and Denial in Cyprus (85)

Rape and Denial in Cyprus (85)

1

I’m so sorry English lady
There was nothing I could do
To prevent 12 guys from Israel
Taking turns in raping you
A camera came in handy
And a decent cam as well
To be uploaded soon after
Making you a porn star now.

2

Cyprus is a crooked country
And a terrible place for sure
Its judiciary can’t be trusted
In fact it’s rotten to the core
12 male rapists from Israel
Are liberated, they are free
Looking tribal, looking feral
As they celebrate victory

Chorus

Don’t expect justice in Cyprus
What you get there is a game
Let the victim be found guilty
And to hold her head in shame
Let revenge porn be uploaded
Let rape be denied somehow
Let the riff-raff mock the lady
With her life in ruins now.

3

I’m so sorry English lady
How can justice be denied
Due to diplomatic pressure
That the Israelis applied
Turning villains into heroes
Takes a certain sleight of hand
See them mock their former victim
Drinking champagne looking grand

4

Cyprus is a crooked country
It’s a dangerous place for sure
When a dozen men from Israel
Get one foot inside your door
Were not Israel men entitled
As the soldiers of their State
To coerce one lady drinking
To submit without debate?

Chorus

Don’t expect justice in Cyprus
What you get there is a game
Let the victim be found guilty
And to hold her head in shame
Let revenge porn be uploaded
Let rape be denied somehow
Let the riff-raff mock the lady
With her life in ruins now.

5

I’m so sorry English lady
It’s a wicked world for sure
To see people evade justice
With the blessing of the law
I am lost for words dear lady
You must forgive me that I am
How dare 12 men from Israel
Treat you like a joint of ham

6

Cyprus is a crooked country
Justice can’t be trusted there
All the more so for the ladies
That let down their pretty hair
Even worse if after drinking
You hang out with feral guys
With submission being safer
Than a shot between the eyes

 Chorus

Don’t expect justice in Cyprus
What you get there is a game
Let the victim be found guilty
And to hold her head in shame
Let revenge porn be uploaded
Let rape be denied somehow
Let the riff-raff mock the lady
With her life in ruins now.

Dragon Spotting (84)

1
People ask me about dragons
Are they really bold and brave?
Are they monsters in the making
That don’t know how to behave?

Do their mouths fill up with fire?
Do their teeth glow red and white?
Do they threaten to destroy you
In the middle of the night?

Peace and love are truly awesome
But they have had their day for sure
Now the people of most nations
Serve the true masters of war

Has justice abdicated?
This being the price we are prepared to pay
To prevent the dragon from knocking on our door
Since its common knowledge power controls the law

2
This describes dragons exactly
Please don’t ignore what I say
To become a dragon hunter
Is most ill-advised today

Since most end up in the grave yard
Contemplating what went wrong
When confronting a live dragon
That is mighty fierce and strong

Soldiers murdered Che Guevara
I believe it was a firing squad
On the orders of the dragon
Acting more like it was God

Confronted by such power
The others fled in awe
Realising the dragon
Commands the true masters of war

3
Gerald Bull took several bullets
And Gaddafi a sharpened knife
When you have the fire power
It’s all too easy to cheapen life

Justice flees from the battle
Seeking a good place to hide
And the vacuum thus created
Is where hate chooses to reside

Peace and love are truly awesome
But they have had their day for sure
Now the people of most nations
Serve the true masters of war

Has justice abdicated?
This being the price we are prepared to pay
To prevent the dragon from knocking on our door
Since its common knowledge power controls the law

4
So are dragons brutal killers?
Yes they really are my friend
Since they have the fire power
And the big money to spend

Developing brand new weapons
Even more deadly than the last
In the knowledge that true justice
Now belongs in the distance past

Soldiers murdered Che Guevara
I believe it was a firing squad
On the orders of the dragon
Acting more like it was God

Confronted by such power
The others fled in awe
Realising the dragon
Commands the true masters of war

Peace and love are truly awesome
But they have had their day for sure
Now the people of most nations
Serve the true masters of war

Has justice abdicated?
This being the price we are prepared to pay
To prevent the dragon from knocking on our door
Since its common knowledge power controls the law

In the Absence of Design (81)

In the Absence of Design (81)

1
Thanks to brutal competition
Central planning takes a hit
After which market forces
Screw us down bit by bit

According to the theory
How about we just retreat
Since the robots soon arriving
Are plain impossible to beat

2
In pursuit of full employment
Trash the planet and consume
And don’t think about the robots
Spreading lots of doom and gloom

It’s a sin to share possessions
Empathy is out of date
Employment truly matters
It’s the thing we must create
Chorus
When I read about the Luddites
They don’t seem so bad to me
With our planet being ruined
By our liberal democracy

Competition is a menace
Silicone a hangman’s rope
Yet when I look at the Amish
I see tradition, peace and hope

3
Never mind about the robots
It’s a competition thing
To prove that you are worthy
You must praise the money king

Competition is the method
By which you can be the best
Even though the robots coming
Might replace you with the rest

4
In pursuit of full employment
God’s creation takes a hit
And social justice suffers
When it tries to do its bit

Only competition matters
And with robots on the way
It is looking like our species
May well soon have had its day
Chorus
When I read about the Luddites
They don’t seem so bad to me
With our planet being ruined
By our liberal democracy

Competition is a menace
Silicone a hangman’s rope
Yet when I look at the Amish
I see tradition, peace and hope

Boeing's Max 8 (The Coffin Maker) (83)

Boeing’s Max 8 (The Coffin Maker)

It’s quite frugal on the fuel
Boeing’s plane, the Max 8
Renamed the “coffin maker”
After crashing twice of late

With its complicated software
And its balance all awry
Time for it be dismantled
With a tear from either eye

Chorus
Can we disregard “persuasion”
Will an upgrade do the trick?
Some admit to cutting corners
And consequently feeling sick

When a plane is prone to stalling
And its sensors can’t be trusted
Then a better plane is needed
Than a turkey that is busted
We need a plane without software to fix a fault
Plus a patch for when the pilot feels distraught.

2
It relies a lot on sensors
And software that is hidden
In the worst case scenario
Pilot input is forbidden

When the sensors lose position
Then the software serves a lie
And the people smell a coffin
That is flying in the sky

Chorus

Mad Max is entertaining
After buying snacks to eat
The violence cannot hurt you
From the safety of your seat

But the Max 8 is for flying
Hidden software helps it out
With input from two sensors
(Clever stuff without a doubt)
Save for two planes that became metallic coffins
To be ignored by Boeing’s latest software boffins.

3

Boeing knew the Max 8
Was in fact a bitch to fly
It required a programmer
To stop it stalling in the sky

So software was provided
And some sensors hid away
And hey presto, the illusion
That this plane is all okay

Chorus
Can we disregard “persuasion”
Will an upgrade do the trick?
Some admit to cutting corners
And consequently feeling sick

When a plane is prone to stalling
And its sensors can’t be trusted
Then a better plane is needed
Than a turkey that is busted
We need a plane without software to fix a fault
Plus a patch for when the pilot feels distraught.

4
Boeing made heaps money
With new orders flooding in
No mention of the software
Like it was a rubbish bin

Many pilots have been speaking
Of their problems with this plane
Can we trust its software update
Not to fall from grace again?

Chorus

Mad Max is entertaining
After buying snacks to eat
The violence cannot hurt you
From the safety of your seat

But the Max 8 is for flying
Hidden software helps it out
With input from two sensors
(Clever stuff without a doubt)
Save for two planes that became metallic coffins
To be ignored by Boeing’s latest software boffins.

Mona Lisa's Odyssy (82)

Mona Lisa’s Odyssey
(82)
Opera Version
(followed by Song One of Song version)

1
She's wine made out of water
And her name is Red Rebecca
She can now enjoy her freedom
From a gallery called the Louvre

She had been a static painting
Longing to be a guitar player
And become a planet saver
For the Lord she is serving

Her creator is an artist
Due to make a fresh start
After gambling for a while
With no thought for his art

Leonardo called her Mona Lisa
First in Florence and then Paris
On the cusp of her awakening
As a planet saving musician

How can beauty be abandoned
When it’s just the thing we need
To attract more light inside us
And to shun the kind of seed
That propagates corruption
And is pocketed by greed
At the altar of profiteering
Minus Jesus or a creed?

We need sharing and caring
And community at its best
With chains on competition
And an ending to approval
For the fittest to be cuckoos
That care nothing for the rest

John Milton lost his eyesight writing pamphlets for some cause
That celebrated Cromwell’s triumph by executing Santa Clause
It's just as well that Mona Lisa kept her dreams and hopes intact
By continuing to believe the illusion she was a free person in fact

There are changes to be making
And a causeway in the skies
That is different to a rainbow
That arrives but slowly dies
The good news is Red Rebecca
Has a little bit of heaven in her eyes
2
Mona Lisa is no longer
It all happened in a flash
First she outwitted security
And then made a frantic dash

After escaping from the Louvre
For a brand new life in England
She became a superb musician
And singer called Red Rebecca

Milton’s grave was desecrated
But by whom they couldn’t say
Since his Puritan religion
Was unpopular in its day

Back to humble Mona Lisa
With Leonardo at her heel
She agreed to be his sitter
As she had some time to kill

Resourceful Mona Lisa
Left the Louvre in a hurry
Free at last of being static
And denied making music
She had found her vocation
Beginning with her liberation
No more posing for Leonardo
Just to end up framed forever
Singing and playing the guitar
Is such a joy to Red Rebecca
Compared to picture hanging
And hearing Leonardo saying
Planet saving is much better
Than a berth on the Titanic

When it comes to being a genius then Leonardo is the man
And no womaniser either, unlike the gay gentlemen of Milan
What an artist and philanthropist to have painted Mona Lisa
Leaving us to grow in wisdom with the help of Red Rebecca

There are changes to be making
And a causeway in the skies
That is different to a rainbow
That arrives but slowly dies
The good news is Red Rebecca
Has a little bit of heaven in her eyes
3
What a wonderful song writer
Red Rebecca is her name
As a singer she's amazing
And deserving of her fame

There is something in her music
While her voice is just sublime
Leaving her fans captivated
By an artist in her prime

Plato had a profound vision
Of the limitations of our realm
Perfection is only for heaven
Where God is at the helm

When we become controlling
It’s the blind leading the blind
Leading to the New Jerusalem
Becoming a war-zone of a kind

Red Rebecca with her music
Is becoming a game changer
Rather than a lonely hostage
Pleading to a picture hanger
For his permission to recover
Her old life beyond the Louvre
No regrets for Red Rebecca
She's a star and planet saver
And a truly fabulous composer
Now that her internment is over
Touching others with her singing
And the beauty she is bringing
Through the wonder of her art
And the music in her heart

What a pleasure and a treasure to have Red Rebecca on our side
With community and planet saving values now ready to be applied
What a pity that Leonardo da Vinci could not resist a game of dice
Leaving Odysseus to plead forlornly, “art needs love and sacrifice”

There are changes to be making
And a causeway in the skies
That is different to a rainbow
That arrives but slowly dies
The good news is Red Rebecca
Has a little bit of heaven in her eyes
4
What a most amazing lady
And a musician on the rise
It’s au revoir to Mona Lisa
With the enigmatic eyes

We now have Red Rebecca
To sing and play her guitar
With poetry in her lyrics
Worthy of a superstar

Her creator is an artist
Due to make a fresh start
After gambling for a while
With no thought for his art

Leonardo called her Mona Lisa
First in Florence and then Paris
On the cusp of her awakening
As a planet saving musician

How can beauty be abandoned
When it’s just the thing we need
To attract more light inside us
And to shun the kind of seed
That propagates corruption
And is pocketed by greed
At the altar of profiteering
Minus Jesus or a creed?

We need sharing and caring
And community at its best
With chains on competition
And an ending to approval
For the fittest to be cuckoos
That care nothing for the rest

The values of evolution are decrepit in the main
Like survival of the fittest and logic without a brain
Well at least with Red Rebecca evolution takes a dive
After Mona Lisa said for certain that Jesus Christ is alive

There are changes to be making
And a causeway in the skies
That is different to a rainbow
That arrives but slowly dies
The good news is Red Rebecca
Has a little bit of heaven in her eyes
5
Red Rebecca builds up momentum
Gathering people to her side
Sharing with them the values
She would love to see applied

To a different way of living
That’s for the common good
With community to be thriving
In every neighbourhood

Milton’s grave was desecrated
But by whom they couldn’t say
Since his Puritan religion
Was unpopular in its day

Back to humble Mona Lisa
With Leonardo at her heel
She agreed to be his sitter
As she had some time to kill

Resourceful Mona Lisa
Left the Louvre in a hurry
Free at last of being static
And denied making music
She had found her vocation
Beginning with her liberation
No more posing for Leonardo
Just to end up framed forever
Singing and playing the guitar
Is such a joy to Red Rebecca
Compared to picture hanging
And hearing Leonardo saying
Planet saving is much better
Than a berth on the Titanic

Mona Lisa is the embodiment of nurture and new life
This blessing arrives from heaven to a man and his wife
By becoming Red Rebecca, her renaissance is complete
She’s a planet saving musician that is turning up the heat

There are changes to be making
And a causeway in the skies
That is different to a rainbow
That arrives but slowly dies
The good news is Red Rebecca
Has a little bit of heaven in her eyes
6
With the focus on planet saving
Tradition becomes a real asset
Because our vanity is a hazard
And our weaknesses enslaving

As creation reflects the creator
Then its assets become sacred
So not to be trashed or traded
By a farmer or financial raider

Plato had a profound vision
Of the limitations of our realm
Perfection is only for heaven
Where God is at the helm

When we become controlling
It’s the blind leading the blind
Leading to the New Jerusalem
Becoming a war-zone of a kind

Red Rebecca with her music
Is becoming a game changer
Rather than a lonely hostage
Pleading to a picture hanger
For his permission to recover
Her old life beyond the Louvre
No regrets for Red Rebecca
She's a star and planet saver
And a truly fabulous composer
Now that her internment is over
Touching others with her singing
And the beauty she is bringing
Through the wonder of her art
And the music in her heart

Symmetry embraces the chemistry that is found in another
Equilibrium brings harmony to the participants of difference
Music and silence come together for the sake of each other
Salvation and judgement make way for Grace's intervention

There are changes to be making
And a causeway in the skies
That is different to a rainbow
That arrives but slowly dies
The good news is Red Rebecca
Has a little bit of heaven in her eyes

7
She is special, Red Rebecca
At this moment I am thinking
She’s an inspiration to others
And a planet saving musician

There’s no joy in evolution
Unlike say in God’s creation
There’s a nation to be saving
And bad habits to be breaking

Her creator is an artist
Due to make a fresh start
After gambling for a while
With no thought for his art

Leonardo called her Mona Lisa
First in Florence and then Paris
On the cusp of her awakening
As a planet saving musician

How can beauty be abandoned
When it’s just the thing we need
To attract more light inside us
And to shun the kind of seed
That propagates corruption
And is pocketed by greed
At the altar of profiteering
Minus Jesus or a creed?

We need sharing and caring
And community at its best
With chains on competition
And an ending to approval
For the fittest to be cuckoos
That care nothing for the rest

Leonardo da Vinci shrugs his shoulders once or twice
In response to Odysseus demanding love and sacrifice
And bitterly complaining that genius denied is but a vice
Leaving Leonardo calculating how to win a game of dice

Meanwhile Red Rebecca puts her values on display
Liberty, fraternity and equality are all better than okay
Ecology and simplicity are glad to join the celebration
Morality and community too on receiving an invitation

There’s much that Red Rebecca doesn’t care to say
Fearful of coming across as arrogant and vain
Planet saving is not an easy occupation
In a world that has become obsessed
By the need to generate employment
And a meaningful life in a world crazy in the main
That cares only about a comfortable existence in the near future
That has not a clue of how to take the power away from those totally undeserving
And so serving the one coming at the opposite end of the spectrum to God
The amazing thing about Red Rebecca is that she is taking all of these forces on
Because she dearly loves this planet and the goodness that our God has given
Add to this, her appreciation of the wonder and beauty to be found in heaven
And the grief she experiences to see her brothers and sisters get it so badly wrong

There are changes to be making
And a causeway in the skies
That is different to a rainbow
That arrives but slowly dies
The good news is Red Rebecca
Has a little bit of heaven in her eyes
